Music company Communion has partnered with the LIVENow website to launch a new weekly streaming show that will feature live performances and interviews with two artists, all recorded in Lafayette.
This is, of course, the new London site launched earlier this year by Ben Lovett, a member of Mumford & Sons and co-founder of Communion, which – like most local sites – is currently closed due to lockdown restrictions. .
Mazin Tappuni, who will host the weekly ‘Communion Presents’ feed, says:’ Lafayette is the best new place in London, and while you may not be able to come and see it for yourself yet, we hope these shows online see this. that makes it so special ”.
As well as allowing people to see Lovett’s new location while it is closed, Communion hopes the weekly feed will also help performers who have been negatively impacted by COVID.
Tappuni adds, “Providing a stage for new music has always been at the heart of what we do at Communion. During this year-long disaster we wanted to find a way to continue supporting exciting new artists and creating a live streaming series seemed like the right way to do it ”.
The artists who must appear on “Community Presents” are as follows …
November 29: Olivia Dean and Louis Dunford
December 6: Martha Gunn and Richard Fairlie
Dec 13: APRE & Mysia
