Prince Unreleased Cosmic Day Music Stream

Prince’s estate has teamed up with Warner Bros. to release an unreleased track by the late artist – “Cosmic Day”.

The song is considered one of Prince’s most revered records in his archives. Recorded at Sunset Sound in 1986, with engineers Susan Rogers and Coke Johnson, clips of the song have circulated online but have never been released to the public in its entirety until today. Prince writes: “There is nothing strange, we are not disturbed / We just want every day to be or to be a cosmic day.” The lyrics are supported by the psychedelic sounds of the artist’s iconic guitar playing, as he sings, his twisted “Camille” voice, fast cars, swirling clouds and sirens “swimming in the sky” in a floating “cosmic dream”.
